TV Aerial fitting

If you need a new aerial fitted, give us a call where we can arrange a time to come and see you. If it can wait a little while, we will book it in for as soon as possible. However, if it’s something that needs to be done right now, please let us know and we will work our hardest to fit you in.

When we install your new aerial, you can expect a picture-perfect display as well as extraordinary signal quality. We want all of our customers to be able to sit back and relax each evening and watch their TV without any issues.

By having an aerial fitted, it also means you can then access Freeview TV channels. This includes over 100 TV channels and radio stations for you to choose from. You won’t have to worry about missing out on your favourite programmes ever again!

However, if you’re looking for something that offers a wider range of channels for you to pick from, there are other options available. Take a look around our website to see the different options we offer or get in touch to discuss your requirements. We will give you the best deal that we can offer to make coming to Antenna Systems worthwhile.

Freeview came about in 2002, taking over from ITV Digital. The service allows customers to access the six DTT multiplexes that cover across the UK. This means you have the access to multiple different channels. Channels that you can access on Freeview include:

  • BBC One, Two and Four in HD
  • ITV – available in +1 and HD
  • Channel 4 - available in +1 and HD
  • Channel 5 - available in +1 and HD
  • 4Seven in HD
  • More4, Film4 and E4 – available on +1
  • ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and ITVBe – available on +1
  • 5STAR and 5USA – available on +1

TV installation FAQ’s

Will my TV work without an aerial?

In order to access Freeview channels, you will need to have an aerial installed. You can receive subscription channels and On Demand through your broadband or satellite dish. To receive the best signal for Freeview channels, we recommend having an aerial installed outside of your home. These are normally placed on the front or side of your top at the very top.

How much will it cost to have an aerial installed?

Depending on what you require, the price for installation will vary. We find that a lot of our customers have different needs that they’d like to meet and therefore need different things doing. If you would like a quote on how much it would cost you to have your aerial installed, please get in touch. We will discuss your requirements and give you a rough quote. Our customers are not under any pressure to go ahead with the work we quote for.

Can I have an indoor aerial?

This is something that we will identify when we come to your property. We will need to check that you have a sufficient, decent reception inside of your house before we make our decision. If your home is within 15 miles of a transmitter, you are usually in a position to have an indoor aerial. However, if it’s further than this, we will need to do checks to make sure it will work efficiently.

Can the aerial go in my loft?

If we find that the aerial can still receive a great signal whilst in the loft, there is no reason why we can’t put it in there. One of our team will come to your property to install this for you. However, if the diagnostic results tell us that the aerial signal will be poor whilst in the loft, this will need to be installed on the exterior of the property instead.

If you’re interested in having an aerial installed, please contact our team who will be able to give you advice and solutions on what we can offer you. We may need to come to your property first before we know what needs to be completed. Our quotes are free of charge and you are under no obligation to go ahead with the works.

In the case that you have an emergency problem with your aerial that needs repairing as soon as possible, contact us and let us know of your situation. We try and fit in priority repairs as soon as we can to ensure you’re not left with the problem for a long time.

What Our Customers Say

Amazing Service - Sorted Within The Hour

We had a problem with our aerial. We called up at 9am and they were here just after lunch time. They found the problem to be a dodgy aerial booster on the roof. They quickly replaced it and were on their way. First class service and the price was competitive too.
