The Daniels Electronics AN553 is a VoIP Catalyst or Vega. For applications where it is advantageous to locate the base station away from the office or dispatch building for a better line-of-site path to repeaters and mobiles, a base station extension via an IP network is possible. Existing (legacy) remote consoles can be supported.
