It also has a feature called TTL Inhibit, which allows you to use your own cell communications in the dead zone. Higher power units are available. There are times when government and law enforcement agencies require a cellular communications "dead zone." Anti-terrorist bomb squads, drug enforcement task forces, prisons, and court rooms have successfully deployed cell phone jammers. A typical application is that of keeping the suspect from detonating an explosive remotely. Another is to prevent accomplices from communicating during a raid.
