These Explosive Ordnance Disposal products are available only to qualified Military, Law Enforcement, and EOD teams. End User Certificate is required. We also offer custom solutions and engineering services for your application.
If you're involved in Explosive Ordnance security, you're aware this goes well beyond the "cut the red wire" guys in the movies. For many EO technicians, it's a response situation. For example, someone calls the FBI to report a bomb and an EO technician is one of the responders handling that problem.

But many EO situations aren't a matter of response. They are a matter of control. Often, the situation is one of comprehensive, ongoing EO security. The EO personnel don't just fix the problem once unauthorized explosive ordnance is in an unauthorized location. They follow and administer preventive measures to keep those EOs out of there in the first place. This means having a system that includes everything from access (we provide search mirrors and spike strips) to PPE (we provide bomb blankets).

Bomb blankets. The bomb blanket is designed to protect people and property from the blast of an explosive device. It may also be used as a ballistic blanket in certain vehicle applications.

EOD disrupters. In EOD parlance, "disrupter" is a somewhat broad term that applies to equipment using different methodologies of disabling a bomb or grenade. One method is to destroy the fuse mechanism. The disrupter might blast the fuse with metal bolts or with a high voltage discharge from a capacitor. Another method is to remove the fuse mechanism. For example, the Antenna Factory ZAG-1 is an EOD/IED defusing device that unscrews threaded fuses (coniform or cylindrical type) from explosive devices. It is attached to the fuse with jaw clamps and it set to into rotation by two electrically ignited propulsive charges.

Hook line sets. Safely manipulating ordnance parts requires great skill and nerves of steel. It also requires the right equipment. A good hook line set makes all the difference.

Tool kits. These range from kits for determiners to kits for demining.

EOD specialists get their training from military EOD schools. This is a purely voluntary track, and it requires a special kind of person. In fact, EOD attracts the same kind of person as the Green Berets do.

Thus, special organizations exist for these very special people. Each military branch has such an organization. Here are two that exist outside the military:

  • NATEODA. National Explosive Ordnance Disposal Association (NATEODA) is a non-profit fraternal and educational organization of active and formerly active members of the military services of the United States of America who have served in military Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) positions.
  • Wounded EOD Warrier Foundation. The Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that provides assistance to our Wounded EOD Warriors and their families in the form of financial relief. The resources provided by the Foundation to the wounded and their families are above and beyond the budgetary constraints of the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs.
